Deputy Fire Marshal Ken Foster has been with Lebanon Fire District for 31 years. Ken has been DFM and Team Leader for the Lebanon Fire Investigation Team for the past four years. Ken is a NFPA Fire Investigator and IAAI Fire Investigator Technician. 

Ken has been involved  in fire investigation throughout his career. He currently leads 19 team members and has helped create a robust investigations response and training program. LFIT has created a robust program through equipment purchase and the building of a burn training room. 

November 18th, 2020, Lebanon Fire District responded to a residential fire where it was determined the Fire Investigation Team would be activated. The fire origin came from under a tri-plex, producing a considerable amount of black smoke and no heat. Determining cause is where the team began a study of the electrical system and  plumbing. Ken will be sharing the details of the investigation, testing, and out of state resources used to solve this case.
